During the ceremony, he was supported by friends, as well as his husband Adam Smith. The 53-year-old male celebrity looked incredibly happy and excited.
So he talked about how glad that now his strangeness has become his greatest superpower. And then he explained what he meant. He considers it a great achievement that in 2022 a Black Queer who is also HIV positive receives such an award and is very grateful to the world for this. Billy is also proud that he did not follow the public opinion and did not betray his beliefs.
